Tempranillo is Spain's best-known grape variety. For many, it is the epitome of Rioja. But the grape variety offers very different nuances in the various growing regions - from dry sites like in La Mancha, up to the higher mountainous regions of Northern Spain. It is adaptable, which is to the advantage of the diversity of Tempranillo wines. In the ACTUM we have a cuvée of Tempranillo and Syrah, which makes for a very supple wine.
The ACTUM shows a deep and intense cherry red in the glass. The nose is dominated by ripe forest fruits paired with a fine, mineral undertone and a hint of violets. The palate is soft, round and harmonious, with fully ripe, fruity wild berry flavours and delicate viola. Truly elegant in presentation. Harmonious also its long finish.
